According to him, funds for this purpose are stipulated by the regional budget.

"By the autumn, Penza will receive about 50 new gas-operated buses of high capacity. 100 million rubles of subsidies were allocated for this purpose by the regional budget," the head of the region wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, May 10.

Previously Ivan Belozertsev held a meeting in the regional government during which he ordered to speed up creation of mobile gas stations, and additional stationary gas stations, as well as equipment of existing facilities for refueling natural gas operated vehicles.

As the website of the Penza administration explains, the funds from the regional government will be allocated on the terms of co-financing. The subsidy will amount to 25%, but not more than 2 million rubles per vehicle. At the same time, the price of one bus may reach about 8.5 million rubles.
