Penza, 26 May 2017. PenzaNews. An internal stage of the contest "Student of the Year of the Sura Land" was held in the Penza House of Youth on Friday, May 26.

Winners and Grand Prix recipients will be selected from students of all nominations, each of which consists of 7-9 people. All of them had an interview and gave a self-presentation.

As the chairman of the organization committee Valeria Semina told PenzaNews, participants of each category were evaluated by 5 juries represented by specialists of the field.

"Today we will know how many points each nominee received. We will meet with the jury to discuss who they think was the best. [...] However, the nominees will find out who became the winner only at the award ceremony, on July 9," she specified.

As it was reported before, altogether 53 people will compete for the title of the best student. The contest includes 11 nominations such as "Creative personality of the year", "Photographer of the year", "Athlete of the year", "Foreign student of the year".
