Penza, 26 May 2017. PenzaNews. Celebration in honour of the winner of the final stage of the championship "Young Professionals" – "WorldSkills Russia" – in the category "Physical education and sport", the student of Penza Social and Pedagogical College Margarita Lubimova was held on Friday, May 26.

During the event, the people present found out what kind of tasks the Penza student carried out within the framework of the contest.

The girl held a workshop, a part of a lesson, demonstrated her skills of industrial gymnastics, an element of work with new equipment, conducted a quick consultation on getting people involved in a healthy lifestyle, a flashmob and a lesson on preparation for reaching qualifying standards of the "Ready for Labor and Defense" physical education and sports complex.

Turning to those present, the deputy chairman of the Penza region government Oleg Yagov emphasized that Margarita Lubimova's victory is not only her personal success.

"It is a success of all of us. [...] It is only the beginning. I wish that next year, in two or three years, we would have not one victory but two, three or even more, I wish that the Penza region would flourish and develop," he said.

Oleg Yagov presented a gift to Margarita Lubimova's teacher, the certificated expert in physical culture and sports Olga Peregudova.

"She went down in history of the Penza land. I think, your achievement should be included in ‘Penza Encyclopaedia’, which will be published in a year," the deputy chairman of the regional government noted.

In turn, the deputy minister – the head of the Professional Education and Youth Policy Department of the regional Education Ministry Elena Petrosova expressed hope that in the future representatives of the region will also show a good result.

"The Penza region is rich not only in teachers, confectioners, and chefs, who show very good results, but also in representatives of other professions," she added.

Elena Petrosova presented letters of gratitude to employers, heads of educational institutions, as well as to the finalist of the contest in the category "Confectionery" Elena Vasiyeva and to her teacher Yulia Artamoshkina.
