"Contracting organizations sometimes do not perform their work well – in the morning they start after 10.00, and they do not remove construction debris at the right time. Most importantly, even though they were fully paid, they do not eliminate defects that remained from the previous year," he said at the meeting that was held in the mayor's office on Friday, May 26.

The head of the Penza administration ordered his deputy Yury Ilyin to strengthen monitoring of the road construction works and quality of materials used.

Victor Kuvaytsev also drew attention of the director of the department of Communal Services of the city Andrei Skripkin to the necessity of getting owners of small and medium businesses involved in the improvement of adjacent territories.

"During the city inspection I paid attention to the state of sidewalks in Prospekt Pobedy street. They definitely need repairs. It is necessary to take a close look at the list of sidewalks that are planned to be repaired this year and to make adjustments if needed," the press service of the Penza administration quotes the mayor.
