"As a result of the inspection we established violations of sanitary-epidemiological legislation requirements as well as violations of the laws of social protection of people with disabilities when providing services to visitors of the railway stations Penza-I, Penza-III, and Penza-IV," the press service of the Volga transportation prosecutor's office told PenzaNews.

The department specified that submissions were sent to the heads of the railway service enterprises that have these facilities on their balance sheets.

"A verification inspection held in May 2017 showed that the law violations relating to the issue of accessibility of railway stations and their premises for people with limited mobility that do not require significant financial expenditures were not eliminated," the press service added.

The transportation prosecutor's office noted that in April the Pervomaisky regional court of Penza satisfied a similar claim against the state-financed institution "Penza Airport".

"The judicial act entered into force at the end of May 2017. Its execution is under control of the Penza transportation prosecutor's office," the department summed up.
