As it was reported on the airline's website, regular flights had been stopped since Monday, June 5.
The company promised to return money for sold tickets to passengers.
The administration of the Penza airport and the regional Ministry of Industry refused to comment on the reason of the flights cancellation.
At the same time, according to available information, the situation can be a result of obstacles that emerged while concluding a contract for carrying out subsidized transportation.
The organizational agreement, which stipulates subsidies from the federal budget, is concluded between the Federal Air Transport Agency and a carrier.
It is also required to sign an agreement with a constituent entity on granting another share of subsidy on flights. One of the conditions for the agreement is absence of tax arrears. According to officially unconfirmed information, the company had some issues concerning the last point.
