Penza, 9 June 2017. PenzaNews. The regional public organization "Uzbek society" together with the charitable fund of family, motherhood and childhood support "Pokrov" will held an annual campaign "Summit of pilav" on Monday, June 12.

The event will be organized within the framework of celebrations dedicated to Russia Day and City Day. It will be held for the fourth time.

"Thanks to your support, each time 'Summit of pilav' is becoming more and more popular. This year the 'Summit' will be held at the Belinsky public garden (opposite to the drama theatre)," the chairman of the public organization "Uzbek society" Satimbai Berdiev told PenzaNews.

He noted that within the framework of the event "Summit of pilav" 10 chefs will compete for the title of the best chef.

"Each resident of Penza will have a chance to try and appreciate national pilav cooked by our experts," he wrote on his Facebook profile.

Satimbai Berdiev specified that the event will start at 12.00 and its results will be summed up at 16.00

It is planned that the money earned during the event will be used to help children from an orphanage in Mokshan.
