Penza, 10 June 2017. PenzaNews. Winners of the first regional contest "Student of the Year of the Sura Land – 2017" were announced during the award ceremony held in the centre of culture and leisure on Friday, June 9.

Babken Meloyan was named the best in the nomination "Creative personality of the year". The title "Student leader of the year" was awarded to Irina Levina. Marina Charykova was named "Volunteer of the Year".

Ilya Lopukhin became the best in the nomination "Athlete of the Year", and Ivan Inozemtsev – in the nomination "Intellect of the Year".

Malika Rozakulova became the winner in the nomination "Foreign Student of the Year". Yulia Mustafina became a journalist of the year. Svetlana Kozhaeva was awarded in the nomination "Young Professional of the Year".

Grand Prix of the contest "Student of the Year of the Sura Land" was awarded to Vadim Safoev.
