Vladimir Podobed elected chairman of Penza Public Chamber

Penza, 13 June 2017. PenzaNews. The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Podobed was elected chairman of the regional Public Chamber of the 5th convocation at the first meeting that was held in the regional government on Tuesday, June 13, and was attended by new members of the deliberative body.

In accordance with the rules of the procedure, the meeting was opened by the oldest member of the chamber – the activist in the field of communal services Vladimir Loschinin.
He said that out of 33 members of the chamber there is only one missing – the executive director of the independent non-profit organization assisting in social adaptation of an individual “Kvartal Louis” Maria Lvova-Belova, who was on a business trip.
Then, it was suggested to nominate candidates for the post of the head of the Public Chamber, which had been renamed from 'secretary' to 'chairman'. As a result, only one candidacy was nominated.
Commenting on Vladimir Podobed's personality, the general director of the TV and Radio Company “Nash Dom” Tatyana Proshina noted that he had shown his worth in the work of the Chamber of the 4th convocation, and that she also knows the way he works due to their collaboration in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"He always relies on the opinion of non-governmental organizations, seeks full transparency and publicity in the work of members of the Chamber, makes decisions collectively and constantly searches for new forms of interaction between the authorities and society," she said.
According to the voting results, Vladimir Podobed's candidacy was supported unanimously.
