"We decided not to asphalt the Lenina square. I help the city because there is not enough of funds. However, the regional budget does not have enough funds either. Nevertheless, we must develop Penza even if we have to take a loan in order to do this. We must create good conditions and improve the city, Penza must be beautiful," he said during a visit to the boarding school for young people with physical disabilities "House of Veronika" on Wednesday, June 14.
Ivan Belozertsev expressed hope that the new appearance of the Lenina square will be appreciated by Penza residents and guests of the city.
"We will carry out works well so that people who live here and who visit Penza feel comfortable. [...] The Lenina square will look nice when we decorate it with paving tiles. The square will look attractive," the governor noted.
