The baby, who was named Agat, was born on June 2.

At present, Agat can follow his mother and feeds on her milk. The father protects him against predators and other threats. Gorgei thinks that their neighbour – male-alpaca – is potentially dangerous in the Penza zoo.

It is supposed that the baby will be later sent to another zoo because in the wild adult animals oust young ones when they become 1 year old.
