Topilin, Babich, and Yevkurov acquaint themselves with work of rehabilitation centre near Penza

Penza, 21 June 2017. PenzaNews. The head of the Ministry of Labour of Russia Maxim Topilin, the presidential plenipotentiary envoy in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, and the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov acquainted themselves with work of the social rehabilitation centre for the youth located in the village Kichkileyka during their visit to the Penza region on Wednesday, June 21.

The director of the institution conducted a trip for the guests.
Particularly, they visited classrooms, where classes were given at that time. At the same time, the visit of the high-ranking officials did not suspend work of the centre – it was conducted in a normal mode.
In one of the rooms, the guests saw two girls painting moneyboxes, and the officials gave them some coins.
In response, the students of the centre presented the guests with hand-made souvenirs. These were trees made of beads.
The regional social rehabilitation centre for the youth was established in the year 2003. It provides different services including assistance to people with disabilities. The establishment is designed for 107 people.
In 2016, social services in the centre were received by 1,332 children.
The effectiveness of multidisciplinary rehabilitation is estimated at 89.7-91.5%. The centre helps to improve the overall well-being of children and to restore bodily functions.
