“The brigades are now laying the upper layer of asphalt coating of the carriageway. Three public transport stops are fitted with bus turnouts,” he said during the on-site inspection on Saturday, July 8.

In turn, the mayor of Penza drew attention of those responsible to the need to execute the contract properly under “Safe and Quality Roads” federal project.

“The road repair work cycle should be complete. This means that in addition to basic carriageway renovation works, we need to ensure drainage, standard lighting, and signing,” Victor Kuvaytsev said.

He also pointed out the necessity of pedestrian walkways which will let Penza residents to get to bus stop pavilions easily, the press service of the mayor’s office reports.
