Penza children and parents’ helpline receives over 1 thousand calls

Penza, 13 July 2017. PenzaNews. Specialists of the center for psychological, pedagogical, medical and social support of the Penza region received over 1 thousand calls through helpline for children, teenagers and their parents in the 2016-2017 school year.

Among them, about 680 calls were taken in the first six months of the year.
The biggest number of calls – 40.6% - were related to the complexities of peer relationships, 19.3% - communication deficits, leisure problems, 12% - child-parent relationships, 7% - first-love experience, 4.41% - learning problems.
The smallest number of calls concerned conflicts with families and classmates – 0.73%, as well as sexual issues – 0.3%.
No crisis calls were registered.
All the callers who contacted the service got help from a psychologist.
