Thus, the ticket is worth three times as much as the one to the Ferris wheel in the Belinsky park for recreation and leisure – there one can get a ride for 80 rubles.

However, visitors of the Sputnik City are offered special conditions: a double circle ticket costs 350 rubles, the access to a VIP cabin is 1 thousand rubles. Children’s ticket is 150 rubles.

Thus, the price for tickets to the Ferris wheel in Sputnik is close to Moscow price.

For instance, in Izmaylovsky park an adult can ride on a 50-meter-high Ferris wheel for 200 rubles and children – for 80 rubles.

Enjoying the view from a 35-meter-wheel in the Skazka park in Krylatskoe will cost 200 rubles on workdays and 300 rubles on weekends.

The installed observation wheel in Sputnik turned out to be lower than it was originally stated. In June 2016, Termodom company distributed information that it will reach 52 meters and it will be the second highest in the Volga region.

In reality, however, the height of the wheel is 36 meters. Thus, the new Ferris wheel is only 10 meter higher than the wheel set in the Belinsky park located on natural elevation.

During the official opening, which was held in conjunction with the Field Day also carried out in Sputnik, a queue to the wheel was formed, sometimes it took people an hour to get to the wheel.

The staff placed people only in half of cabins explaining that the rest of cabins have no air conditioning yet. In order to reduce the queue, people unfamiliar to each other were asked to get into the same cabins so that they were full.

In response to people’s complaints, the staff hinted that those dissatisfied should better come another day.
