Penza, 18 July 2017. PenzaNews. “On December 6, 2016, the man bagged a wild sow using a hunting dog in hunting lands of the Luninsky area near the village of Bolshoy Vyas without a permit and a hunting ticket. He was charged with administrative responsibility and fined 3.5 thousand rubles,” the press secretary of the Penza regional court Natalia Bochenkova told PenzaNews.
She said that disagreeing with the verdict the man applied to the court explaining that the territory where the dog accidently bit the animal is private and is owned by a man who keeps pigs, so the killed cloven-hoofed animal was a pig, not a boar.
“These arguments were refuted by a veterinarian, as well as by hunting experts of the state public institution “Center for specially protected and other natural territories and waters” of the Penza region that provided video footage. According to the expert’s opinion, the animal in the video is a European wild boar, which is no more than 12 months old. The boar had no tags or stamps,” the agency interlocutor said.
She pointed out that the court’s decision entered into force.
