Penza, 25 July 2017. PenzaNews. The facade of five-storeyed building No. 7 in Prospekt pobedy street, which is located close to the Military and Labour Valour Monument, was set free from a multi-metre banner that hid a part of the ground floor of the building.

On Tuesday, July 25, workers of the municipal state-funded enterprise “Penza City Advertising Service” removed the illegal advertisement.

The banner that contained an advertisement of the shop "Dvernoff" with the slogan "Doors are always available – this is what makes us special" written in large red and black letters had remained on the building for a long time.

It caused indignation of many Penza residents because it spoiled the city appearance and the view to the monument, which features traditional celebration of Victory Day and other notable holidays.

As it was reported by the mayor's office press service, illegal advertisements were also removed from a fence of building No. 63 in Revolutsionnaya street as well as from a barrier of the Gagarinsky overpass.
