Penza, 5 August 2017. PenzaNews. Galina Kolmykova, not indifferent resident of Penza, posted an initiative on the portal "Open Penza" in which she urges the authorities to pay attention to a dangerous pedestrian crossing in Ternopolskaya street, where it is difficult to see a person at night.

As it was explained in the description, there are no lamp posts near the pedestrian crossing next to houses No. 35 and 36 in Ladozhskaya street. They are installed only on the opposite side of the road, away from the zebra crossing.
In addition, drivers often leave their cars, including overnight, in the vicinity of the pedestrian crossing, which does not let motorists see what is behind.
As a result, due to these vehicles, drivers do not see people who leave the court yard and go in the direction of a "Magnit" shop until they enter the road.
"Please, install additional lighting near the pedestrian crossing because the lighting we have at the moment finishes at a corner of building 33 in Ladozhskaya street," the text of the initiative goes.
It is addressed to the Penza administration and the city department of communal services.
If the initiative receives 200 votes in support, it will be submitted to the mayor's office for consideration.
