The head of the government entered one of the yards of a new neighbourhood where it was told him that the territory had a number of features – in particular, there were almost no parking lots, they had been moved out of the yard territory; in addition, when constructing the housing complex, the builders had created an individual landscape, which included different architectural forms and a musical fountain.

Dmitry Medvedev also found out that the neighbourhood had been built according to the principle of accessible and safe environment, which included video surveillance and soft surface on the playgrounds. In addition, each house had a concierge.

The Prime Minister asked the builders what the cost of a square metre of housing in the complex was and whether there was demand for mortgages. Representatives of the regional authorities assured Dmitry Medvedev that the demand for mortgages had increased lately.

In the yard that the official visited, he also saw training equipment and a large chess board with almost life-size pieces.

The head of the Russian government became interested in such activities and offered an accompanying delegation, which included the First Vice-Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov and the Minister of Construction Mikhail Men, to play a game. However, they suggested evaluating other attractions of the housing complex.

"By the way, it is much harder to play with such pieces than with standard ones," Dmitry Medvedev noted having assessed the size of the playing ground for the intellectual game.

On becoming familiar with the advantages of the new yard, the Prime Minister ordered to keep order in the territory.

"The main thing is that order is maintained here," Interfax quotes Dmitry Medvedev.
