Penza, 11 August 2017. PenzaNews. 124 traffic rules violations by drivers who provide transportation services were registered in the territory of the Penza region during a preventive campaign conducted on Thursday, August 10.

As the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews, traffic police officers paid special attention to this particular group of drivers in order to check compliance with the requirements of normative legal acts and traffic rules.

"Over the last 24 hours we registered 3,064 traffic rules violations," the department noted.

The traffic police explained that, in particular, 13 drivers were caught driving in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

"22 violations were committed by pedestrians. 25 case materials on traffic accidents that include material damage without victims were drawn up," the propaganda department added.
