Penza, 11 August 2017. PenzaNews. Workers of the law enforcement authorities detained a man who took part in a one-person protest next to the building of the government of the Penza region.

The incident took place at about 11.00 on Friday, August 11 – shortly before the start of an official visit of the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev to Penza, who was expected to hold a meeting on issues of housing construction.

As a witness told PenzaNews, the man wore a large poster being covered with it from head to toe, but the inscription on the poster was imperceptible.

At the moment of the arrest, which was conducted by a police woman in uniform and a man in civilian clothes, the protester shouted loudly "Lawlessness!" drawing attention of passers-by as well as drivers who stopped in Kirova street in front of the traffic light.

According to the witness, the protester was led towards Moskovskaya street.
