Poll: About 40% of Penza residents believe in fair elections to the Legislative Assembly

Penza, 21 August 2017. PenzaNews. Less than a half of resident of the Penza region – about 40% – believe that the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the region, which are scheduled for September 10, will be fair. Such are the results of the poll conducted on the PenzaNews website on August 7-20, 2017. 560 Internet users, including 497 – from Penza and the Penza region, took part in it.

At the same time, each seventh resident of Penza thinks that the elections will be conducted absolutely fair, while each fourth thinks that they will be "rather fair than not".

Almost the same number of the respondents – about 26% – selected the option "rather unfair than fair". Nearly 27% of the respondents – the largest indicator – believe that the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on September 10 will be conducted absolutely unfair.

8% of the online poll participants remained undecided.

Previously, basing on the results of other Internet polls it became known that about a half of Penza residents intend to come to voting stations on September 10 and that each fourth resident of the region would like to select the option "None of the above" from the list of candidates.

The study was conducted on the initiative of the news agency PenzaNews at its own expense through an Internet poll held on August 7-20, 2017.

560 respondents including 497 – from Penza and the Penza region, which was the main area of the poll conduct, took part in it.
The question that was asked on the website was as follows: "Do you think the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on September 10, 2017, will be fair?"

The statistical error equalled to 5%.

The results of the poll were published on the PenzaNews website on a free-of-charge basis to inform the residents.
