Penza, 1 September 2017. PenzaNews. The popular statistics service Google Analytics registered over 1,157,000 page views of the independent news agency PenzaNews website in August 2017, which became a new record for the Internet resource

Previously, the maximum number of page views equalled to 1,033,000, which was achieved in April thanks to website users.

In August, compared to July 2017, the number of the users increased by nearly 8,400 people and reached 167,861. However, the record set in March was not broken: at that time the PenzaNews website was visited by 167,948 users in 30 days, and by 172,915 people – in a full month.

According to Google Analytics data, in half a year – from March to August 2017 – the Penza independent news agency was visited by 868,158 Internet users, who viewed the pages 6,320,987 times.

The average time a user spent on the website was over 5 minutes.

Thus, the level of over one million page views has been steadily maintained over the last 6 months, which indicates stability of the site reach and a high quality work of the PenzaNews editorial board when preparing news materials, which arouse users' interest.

Another independent statistics service – Liveinternet – registered data similar to those provided by Google Analytics: in August 2017 the number of users equalled to 164,708, and the number of page views – to 142,653.

Based on the available information, each reader of the PenzaNews website visits on average 7 pages spending about 5 minutes at the Internet-resource, which is a good result that has been registered monthly since August 2016.

According to LiveInternet data, in the period from January to August 2017, users of the controlled by the regional government net medium “Penza-Press”, which is a part of the holding “Express” and which was established in 2007 the same as PenzaNews, spend at the website on average less than 1 minute.

In general, in August the number of page views of this Internet medium was 3 times less than that of PenzaNews.
