Penza, 4 September 2017. PenzaNews. 1,460 million roubles are planned to be spent on implementation of the priority project “Safe roads of high quality” in Penza in 2018. This was reported by the head of the regional Ministry of Construction Alexander Grishaev.

“730 million roubles will be allocated from the federal budget, and 730 other million – from the regional budget,” he explained to journalists during his visit to the repaired Kalinina street on Monday, September 4.

Alexander Grishaev explained that the volume of work would increase: it was planned to repair 108 km of roads compared to 89 km according to the plan of 2017.

“It means that almost all streets of Penza – probably excluding a private sector – will be repaired,” the minister noted.

According to Alexander Grishaev, in 2019-2025 it will be possible to include capital-intensive objects into a list of roads that are to be repaired within the project.

“In 2018 we plan to introduce Bakuninsky bridge repairs. […] In addition, we will have a great project – recently the city has announced an auction for carrying out repairs of the road over Brigadirsky bridge,” the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Penza region said.
