Penza, 9 October 2017. PenzaNews. Twenty volunteers went from Penza to Sochi to the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Education.

"They will take part in preparatory and organizational activities, meeting of delegations and cultural patronage," the department explained specifying that the delegation was headed by the student of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction Ekaterina Tymchuk.

The press service added that the departure of Penza participants of the festival, who numbered 50 persons, would take place on Friday, October13.

The 19th World Festival of Youth and Students will be held in Sochi on October 14-22. It is expected that the festival will be attended by representatives of 150 countries at the ages from 18 to 35.

In 2017, the event is conducted under the slogan: "For peace, solidarity and social justice, we fight against imperialism – respecting our past we build our future!"
