Penza, 10 October 2017. PenzaNews. 88% of Penza residents are fully or largely agree that there are enough cultural institutions in the city. This is evidenced by results of the research conducted by specialists of Financial University under the government of the Russian Federation within the project on life quality assessment in the country.

The analysis was based on sociological survey data. In each of the cities covered by the study, at least 600 respondents were interviewed on a sample representative of the population of the territory.

According to the data, in total, 83% of residents of cities and towns agree that there are enough cultural institutions – theatres, galleries, libraries and others – in the place of their residence.

At the same time, the number of people satisfied with cultural environment of their native city has been growing in recent years. The highest indicators have been achieved in Saint-Petersburg – 94%, Kazan – 93%, Grozny – 92%, Novosibirsk – 90%, and Moscow – 89%.

The population of Naberezhnye Chelny, Volgograd and Ulyanovsk estimateat cultural environment of their cities at the lowest rate – 50%, 54%, and 60% correspondently.

Representatives of the university also studied the issue of availability of education, which according to received data remains at a high level in the country.

80% of the respondents interviewed in cities and towns fully or largely agree that they can get good and modern education at the place of their residence.

The share of Penza respondents who expressed the same opinion is 64%.

The largest share of population who thinks that high-quality education is available in their own city was registered in Tomsk, Novosibirsk, and Vladivostok – 95%, Krasnoyarsk – 92%, Voronezh – 91%, Saint-Petersburg and Tyumen – 90%.
