"It was published at the expense of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. It reflects the main trends and figures that relate to the non-profit sector, as well as its development and influence on other sectors," Oleg Sharipkov, executive director of the community foundation “Civil Union”, explained.
He reported that as well as the previous time, when carrying out the analysis, expert opinion had been taken into account. Specifically for this purpose nine focus groups were organized that were responsible for the following areas: development of informal communities and movements, charity, volunteer and environmental movements, the issue of the disabled and elderly people, interaction between business and civic society, between the mass media and civic society, as well as protection of human rights.
"Almost all breakdowns of the focus groups' opinions including brief conclusions were given," the executive director of the foundation “Civil Union” said.
According to him, when preparing the 60-page report, materials from open resources were used including data published on websites of the Ministry of Justice of Russia, the Federal Tax Service, the Penza administration and regional government, as well as results of social networks monitoring.
Everyone can review the report: in an electronic format, it is available on the website of the foundation “Civil Union”.
The first such report was presented at the press conference in the news agency PenzaNews in October 2012, and the second one – in September 2015.
