It is decorated in yellow and green colours and shows images of the “Tarkhany” State Museum-Reserve, the monument to Mikhail Lermontov, the region's coat of arms, as well as the "Rostok" monument located at the Sura embankment in Penza.
Compared to a number of other pavilions, the Penza pavilion is not very interactive.
Most of its exposition is static.
Visitors are offered guides around the Penza region. They can also learn about crystal glass produced in Nikolsk, Abashevo hand-made toys, and Penza confectionery products.
Information about the goods the region takes pride in is broadcast on screens located on the pavilion walls.
A feature of the Penza exhibition platform is the ability to take a photo with life-size puppets looking like the famed Abashevo toy.
Many guests – both from regions of Russia and foreign countries – take pictures on their mobile phone cameras.
