Penza, 22 October 2017. PenzaNews. A fall of temperature was registered in the Penza region: on Sunday, October 22, first snow fell in some areas.

In particular, a thin snow cover was formed in some settlements in the west of the region – in Bashmakovsky and Belinsky areas.

Traffic conditions were noticeably complicated there. Driving visibility became worse. Cars many of which still use summer tyres had to drive with a minimum speed.

At the same time, passengers had a chance to enjoy winter landscapes. The snow covered tree branches, which had almost lost all their leaves, and the grass.

In some areas of Penza, in most cases the first snow fell and melted immediately.

However, many residents hurried to take photos of snowflakes in the sky with their mobile phone cameras and shared the shots with their friends on social networks.

According to the weather forecast, in the next few days the air temperature in the Penza region will be around 0...+2ºС and at night the temperature will drop below zero.

By Thursday, October 26, the sub-zero temperature will set during the daytime as well.

The weekend is supposed to be the coldest part of the week. In some areas, the temperature will go down to -9ºС.
