Workers of the department train at eight grounds. In particular, the territory includes a fire-obstacle course and a tactical settlement. During the exercises, the officers train individual and group work including skills of releasing simulated hostages and arresting criminals.

As it was noted by the head of the regional department of the Special Police Squad Nikolai Rukavishnikov, during the field exercises the fighters will also improve their tactical manoeuvres.

"Simultaneously we are working on the programme for receiving a crimson beret for the most trained fighters," he noted.

Nikolai Rukavishnikov explained that to receive such a decoration, the fighters would have to undergo further training. It is possible that as a result of the training "only two people out 100 will be worthy to get it".

"The main task is to train tactical elements, security measures and effective implementation of tasks," the head of the regional department of the Special Police Force added.

He specified that about 70% of the detachment was involved in the exercises as some fighters were engaged in everyday tasks.

The five-day training will finish on Friday, October 27.
