Penza, 6 November 2017. PenzaNews. A holiday parade along Moskovskaya street, which will start at 9.15 at the shopping centre "Arbat", will start celebrations in Penza devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Great October socialist revolution on Tuesday, November 7.

It is expected that the parade will be attended by representatives of the Communist Party, the Left Front, as well as ordinary residents of Penza who has associated this commemorative date with parades and demonstrations since the Soviet times.

First, participants of the march will go to the V.I. Lenin square where they will lay flowers to the monument of the founder of the world's first state of workers and peasants.

Then, walking through the Slavy public garden they will go to the Rostok monument at the Sura river embankment.
At 10.00, there will be a commemorative rally devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Great October.

During the rally, it is planned to open capsules with messages to descendants, which were laid in 1967 and 1977.

It is anticipated that among other honorary guests the event will be attended by the Penza residents who were fortunate to be present at the ceremony of laying the messages addressed to descendants.

The rally will be followed by a large celebration concert, which will start at 13.00 in the regional philharmonic hall. Before its beginning, it is planned to set up a field kitchen with porridge, patties, and hot tea.
