Penza, 25 November 2017. PenzaNews. The head of the Penza administration visited the municipal enterprise Penzalift, where New Year's installation is being prepared based on the art object that was placed in Yubileynaya square last winter and aroused real interest among residents.

The Penza mayor saw a prepared frame of the figure with an element in the shape of number 8, which will be one of the key elements of the installation.

At the same time, Victor Kuvaytsev was informed that a further number of activities are to be carried out to install the New Year's art object because the components that provide illumination had disappeared from the territory of the municipal unitary enterprise Penzalift.

When carrying out inspection before the New Year's campaign, specialists of the enterprise discovered that boxes with light equipment and garlands that had previously been used for decoration of the art object disappeared. In addition, the wires were cut.

The Penza mayor noted that the incident was unpleasant and demanded that all circumstances should be clarified.

According to him, even though works on illumination repair will require additional costs, they must be carried out as soon as possible in order to install the object in the city and create a holiday mood for Penza residents.
