Provision of free medicine worth 8 mln roubles to two disabled reinstated in Penza

Penza, 7 December 2017. PenzaNews. The right of two Penza disabled persons to free provision of an expensive medicine worth more than 8 million roubles was reinstated judicially. This was reported by the senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova.

She noted that one of them was a minor.
"As a result of prosecutor's interference, four residents of the Luninsky area were provided with free medicine in the amount recommended for medical reasons. Response measures to similar facts were taken by Kamenka interdistrict prosecutor and prosecutors of towns of the Zarechny, Pachelmsky, and Bessonovsky areas", the interlocutor explained.
Svetlana Artamonova specified that after theinterference of workers of the department, official websites of the Penza social department, centre for social help to families and children of the Zheleznodorozhny area of the city, and that of hospital No. 4 had been provided with a version for people with eyesight impairments.
"Only after prosecutor's interference, the youth sports school of the Kolysheysky area equipped the entrance to the educational institution with a ramp. Violations related to the creation of a barrier-free environment for citizens with disabilities were also registered in Kuznetsk and Penza, as well as in the Issinsky, Lopatinsky, Penzensky, Nikolsky and other areas", the assistant prosecutor added.
