Penza, 9 January 2018. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly Valery Lidin, the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev, the city head Valery Savelyev and other officials expressed condolences on the sudden death of Vyacheslav Satin, who had worked in regional authorities from 1998 to 2013.

"Vyacheslav Alexeevich Satin's contribution to the development and prosperity of the Penza region is difficult to overestimate. [...] Being a true professional of his business, he brilliantly carried out every work he started," the obituary reads.

It noted that Vyacheslav Satin will remain in the memory of his colleagues as a bright person with an extraordinary sense of humour who is always ready to help.

"The name of Vyacheslav Alexeevich Satin is inscribed in the history of the Penza region forever. Let the bright memory of him remain forever in the hearts of his fellow citizens," the text adds.

The information about the date and place of lying in state is clarified.

Vyacheslav Satin at various times occupied positions of Minister of State Property of the Penza region, head of the office of the governor and government of the region, as well as that of vice mayor of Penza.

In recent years, he led the project on creation of the environment of social concord under JSC "TVEL".

He suddenly died on the 58th year of life on January 9, 2018.
