Furthermore, 18,500 of them came from abroad.

As of January 2018, there are 126 hotels, 33 holiday camps, 10 sanatoriums, 12 children's recreation camзs and 135 travel agencies in the region.

Within the framework of the nationwide system of training and professional development for specialists of a tourism industry, 88 people underwent development training courses.

Over 140 routes, which are placed on the regional portal "Tourism and recreation in the Penza region" are implemented. A new version of the website was developed, work on filling it with content is carried out. The website was translated into English and Chinese.

Versions of the current portal in foreign languages were also updated.
