"The developers that will continue construction of each problem house have been defined. There are six such houses," he said to journalists before the start of the 41st extraordinary session of the Penza city Duma on Friday, January 26.
Valery Savelyev added that the activities on putting the houses into operation will be carried out within the framework of the regional law on protection of shareholders.
"To begin with, this is allocation of land at a reduced price [...]. The list of land plots has already been identified and is available on the website of the city administration. Secondly, this is additional allocation of funds for the municipal programme on stimulation of housing construction. At this session we are going to make changes to the budget and allocate 100,000 roubles for this programme. We plan to receive further 200 million roubles for the development of engineering infrastructure in three new neighbourhoods of Arbekovo – the 6th, 7th, and 8th neighbourhoods. The construction of the engineering infrastructure is planned to be finished this year," the city head explained.
According to him, it is too early to say whether the money will be spent on the construction of a pumping station as it was planned before.
"When it comes to a pumping station, we cannot say anything exact. We are allocating funds specifically for infrastructure development but we will define in the future what kind of infrastructure is required in the first place," Valery Savelyev noted.
He stressed that the issue of shareholders is solved under the control of the prosecutor's office.
"We have just discussed the way of solving the issue correctly, legally," the city head said commenting on the conversation with a representative of the supervisory department that had been held before the session.
