Igor Pantyushov, head of the Penza regional department of the All-Russian public organization Russian Geographical Society, awarded Pavel Polosin, chief editor of the independent news agency PenzaNews, with a letter of gratitude signed by the honorary chairman of the branch, cosmonaut Alexander Samokutyaev.

He expressed gratitude to all the staff of the editorial board for coverage of the projects aimed at perpetuating the memory of polar explorers, natives of the Penza region.

In addition, Igor Pantyushov noted the contribution of the news agency PenzaNews to the coverage of public initiatives aimed at patriotic upbringing of youth, preservation of cultural and historical heritage, as well as at the formation of an active civic position of residents of the region.
