Penza, 8 February 2018. PenzaNews. The head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev congratulated city residents on the Day of Russian Science, which is celebrated on Thursday, February 8.

"On this day we are expressing gratitude to those who make an invaluable contribution to the development of the scientific potential of our city, discover new facts, expand boundaries of what is possible, and create unique high-tech products. Thanks to progressive thinking a great success is demonstrated not only by experienced representatives of intellectual work but also by school pupils and students who win contests of different levels with their scientific projects," the mayor noted.

He added that in order to support talented youth a municipal cluster project PROdvizhenie had been established. It teaches children how to be independent and lets them realize modern ideas. The implementation of the project increases the prestige and awareness of the city.

"I wish strong health, happiness, prosperity and confidence in the future to all those who are engaged in science! Good luck and new discoveries for the benefit of Penza," the press service of the city administration quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
