Penza, 21 February 2018. PenzaNews. Annual competitions called Winter Damate Games, which were held in Penza in the territory of the restaurant-hotel complex Russkaya Okhota for the fourth time, united 160 employees working together at enterprises of turkey production and at the dairy plant Penzensky.

Together with family members they participated in team competitions including a ski race and a relay race.

A separate ski race was organized for the youngest sports fans – children aged 6 to 10 years old.

The desire to win was spurred by valuable prizes – guided tours to Moscow, Kazan and other cities of the Volga region. There were also special prizes for those who failed to reach the finish line first. These were bowling, cinema and trampoline park certificates.

Among those who came to encourage the teams there were representatives of the company management including co-owner of Damate Group Rashid Galeev.

According to deputy HR director of Damate Group Polina Konnova, the Russian agricultural holding strongly supports the aspiration of their employees, whose average age is 39 years old, to lead an active lifestyle and to do sport.

"One person does not have an opportunity to rent a stadium, a swimming pool, a football ground or even a sports base. The company, though, does have it and this is what we do with a great pleasure. We take upon ourselves a number of organizational issues, including financing. The result is increased loyalty to us as an employer and a positive impact on working process," she noted.

It is expected that at least ten sports events will be organized for workers of the company, who will be able to participate with their families. The holding undertakes the solution of all organizational issues, including the provision of supplies and equipment.

According to the latest data, the total number of employees of Damate Group across Russia is more than 4,000 people.

In the Penza region, the implementation of the project on expansion of turkey production up to 155,000 tons per year will create 890 additional jobs.

As expected, the average salary of the employees in 2018 will amount to 35,000 roubles.
