Over 70 drunk drivers caught in Penza region over three days

Penza, 26 February 2018. PenzaNews. 71 drivers in the state of alcohol intoxication were caught on roads of the Penza region in the period from 23 to 25 February. This was reported by the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“Fourteen the drivers were arrested thanks to information received from citizens,” the department specified.

It reminded that according to the Code of Administrative Offence of the Russian Federation driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication leads to an administrative penalty equal to 30,000 roubles and the deprival of the right to drive for the period from 1.5 to 2 years if such actions do not include a penal act.
