Kuznetsk, 1 March 2018. PenzaNews. Antonina Barinova, resident of Kuznetsk of the Penza region, celebrates her 100th anniversary on the first day of spring, March 1.
The mayor of town Sergei Zlatogorsky congratulated her on the jubilee delivering greetings on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Dear Antonina Ivanovna, you have held out in the times of severe ordeals, kept the faith in the rightful cause, good and justice. Your youth scorched by the war and all your life will always be a bright example of selfless love to the Motherland, fortitude and unyielding will to us and future generations. I wish you health, prosperity and all the best," the text reads.

After that Sergei Zlatogorsky presented the woman with flowers and a commemorative gift wishing her good health. He also invited the long-liver to the celebration on the occasion of Victory Day.

In turn, Antonina Barinova shared some facts of her life, in particular, the fact that her husband had died at the front on her birthday.

As it was reported by the press service of the Kuznetsk administration, she also cited poems about her fate.
