Penza, 6 March 2018. PenzaNews. In 2018 the Penza region will receive 600 million roubles from the federal budget for the completion of circus construction in the regional centre. This was reported by the governor Ivan Belozertsev during his annual investment address in the regional Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday, March 6.

He noted that the region will continue to use the opportunities suggested by the federal centre including participation in state programmes.

In 2017, almost 20 billion roubles were attracted to the region with their help – which is 13% more compared to the level of 2016. This year we are going to maintain this level," Ivan Belozertsev said.

As it was reported before, in November 2017 Governor Ivan Belozertsev stated that the funds in the amount of 1 billion 305 million roubles were included in the federal budget for the completion of the circus construction in Penza, which had been frozen several years before.

According to him, the auction for the full amount was planned to be held in the first quarter of 2018.
