Penza, 26 March 2018. PenzaNews. Governor Ivan Belozertsev ordered deputy chairman of the Penza region government Oleg Yagov and minister of culture and tourism of the region Tatyana Kurdova to check the availability of information about places of interest in local hotels.

"When I switch on a TV in Nizhny Novgorod hotels, I see broadcast about the city, attractions of the Nizhny Novgorod region, cultural facilities, learn about Maxim Gorky. The video was made in a very interesting way," he said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, March 26.

The head of the region added that there was a guide book in the hotel room.

"It attracts attention," Iven Belozertsev noted and then asked Tatyana Kurdova if something similar exists in hotels of the Penza region.

"There are films about the Penza region. They were downloaded," the minister explained finding difficulty in replying how often the videos are shown.

She specified that hotels also received guide books and new maps published this year.

When the governor asked when Tatyana Kurdova and her deputy checked the last time whether the materials are made maximum use of, the minister of culture could not answer.

Then, Ivan Belozertsev ordered her and Oleg Yagov to personally make sure within a day that films about the region are shown in Penza hotels and guide books are provided for tourists.
