Several actions in memory of those killed in Kemerovo held in Penza

Penza, 27 March 2018. PenzaNews. Three actions in memory of those who died in a fire in the shopping mall Winter Cherry were held in Penza in the evening on Tuesday, March 27.

They started around the same time – after the end of the work day.
Thus, several dozen Penza residents gathered at the temporary memorial established in the afternoon in the square near the house of youth. Some of them brought flowers, some – candles, others – toys.
Most of those present learned about the place of commemoration for victims of the tragic event in Kemerovo organized in Kirova street from the mass media and social networks.
Another action was held near the monument "Family".
It featured representatives of the opposition including members and supporters of the Communist Party and Komsomol, Left Front and civil activists as well as concerned citizens showing no significant interest in politics.
All of them were united by the desire to pay tribute to adults and children whose lives were claimed by the fire as well as to express their support to their friends and relatives.
In addition, an action was held in the F. Dzerzhinsky public garden, where Penza residents also lit candles as a token of mourning for the deceased.
As it was reported before, according to the latest data, as a result of the fire that occurred in the shopping mall Winter Cherry in Kemerovo on March 25, 64 people died.
March 28 was announced a day of national mourning in Russia.
