32% of poll participants (160 users) estimate Victor Kuvaytsev's work as positive, 20% of participants (100 users) think it is rather positive than negative.
At the same time, 41.6% of respondents (208 users) expressed their dissatisfaction with the activities of the current mayor of Penza.
Thus, 25% of poll participants (125 users) estimate Victor Kuvaytsev's work on the post of the regional centre administration as absolutely negative, and 16.6% (83 users) – as rather negative than positive.
6.4% of respondents (32 users) remained undecided.
Earlier, in the period from February 26 to March 14, 2018, PenzaNews conducted a public opinion poll related to the assessment of the activities of Penza head Valery Savelyev. 500 users from the Penza region participated in it.
According to the results of the Internet poll, only 28% of respondents estimate work of the former chief medical officer of the regional mental hospital as positive, while over 63% consider it as negative.
The poll had to be suspended, however, a few days after it began because PenzaNews technicians registered mass attempts of cheating votes for two positive options.
Subsequently, these votes were annulled, and the algorithm of registering votes was significantly improved.
Thus, currently the system does not block and does not prevent users who have already been suspected in the desire to artificially influence the results of the online poll from voting several times using different browsers including Tor. The responses of cheaters are recorded, but not counted, making their actions meaningless.
The priority is given to the number of participants from Penza – 500, but not to a fixed time period as it was before.
A vote of a regional user is counted only once during the time the survey is conducted, though the system does not limit unfair respondents in the possibility of multiple voting, for example using different devices such as a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. Such actions do not influence the results.
In addition, PenzaNews editorial staff reserves the right to increase the sample of the Internet poll up to 1,000 – in case 500 users voted within several days or even hours.
Such activity in a relatively short period of time in combination with the majority of votes in support of one option may indicate the use of the so-called administrative resource to get a desired result.
