Penza, 11 April 2018. PenzaNews. Starting June 1, S7 Airlines (PJSC Siberia Airlines) will launch an additional flight between Penza and the Moscow airport Domodedovo.

As it was reported by the press service of the regional ministry of industry, this is due to a great demand among residents and guests of the region as well as due to the expected shortage of tickets in summer time.

The flights will be operated by aircrafts Embraer E-170. The cabin capacity is 70-80 people.

According to the schedule posted on the airport's website, from June 1 to October 25 the flight will depart from Penza Monday-Friday at 6.05 and arrive at the capital at 7.35.

The additional flight will depart from Domodedovo every day except Saturday from May 31 to October 24. The departure is scheduled for 22.15 and the arrival – for 23.40.

Thus, altogether three flights will be operated on this route – two daily flights operated by the airlines S7 and RusLine and an additional one – six times a week.

However, Saratov Airlines cancelled flights to Moscow in the summer season 2018.

As it was reported by director of Penza airport Yuri Oskolkov, as of Wednesday, April 11, there was no information on the cancellation of flights of the airline in south direction.
