Penza, 17 April 2018. PenzaNews. The Penza residents who visited the Mitrofanevsky cemetery on the single day of commemoration, which is a day off in the region, saw an unattractive picture: the territory is littered, fallen leaves had not been removed, there was garbage on some graves and near them.

As one of Penza residents told PenzaNews, he made his way to the grave of his relative through a bush with great difficulty.
According to him, on the way he repeatedly met broken or completely fallen old trees, which had not been removed from the cemetery territory by relevant services before the flow of people who came to visit graves of their loved ones after winter.
Special indignation was caused by piles of garbage both in bags and out of them as well as by a large amount of dry leaves and old monuments lying between the graves.
There was also household waste in the territory near houses.
Benches of trees and bushes intertwined over some graves so strongly that it was impossible to see who is buried in the place.
