"This will improve the durability and visibility of road marking in adverse weather conditions, especially in winter. It is planned that thermoplastic will be used in 111 streets of the city," he said at the meeting of the city commission on road safety, which was held in the mayor's office on Friday, April 20.
Denis Leontyev noted that with the onset of favourable weather conditions contractors will begin to draw road marking in the framework of warranty contracts for 2017. The marking in 41 streets will be made with thermoplastic, in 36 streets – with paint.
He added that an electronic auction is planned to be conducted on April 27, during which an organization to perform works on drawing marking on the road and street network of Penza will be determined.
