In Penza prosecutor's office demands that operation of shopping centre Rassvet prohibited

Penza, 4 May 2018. PenzaNews. The prosecutor of the Pervomaisky district of Penza, Alexei Popov, directed a claim to court to ban the operation of the shopping centre Rassvet in Kalinina street until all violations in the sphere of fire safety are eliminated.

As the press service of the prosecutor's office in the Penza region told PenzaNews, in the course of the inspection it was established that the three-stored building is not protected by an automatic fire-extinguishing system.

"There is no system of exhaust smoke ventilation in the basement and the second and third floors do not have second emergency exits. In addition, the stairs are not separated from adjacent corridors and premises by firebreak partitions. Production premises are not separated from the trading floor for visitors. Some doors do not meet the requirements of fire resistance," the supervisory department added.

The press service explained that according to the results of the inspection LLC April, which the building belongs to, and the general director of the organization were fined 160,000 and 14,000 roubles under Part 1, Art. 20.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation "Failure to meet fire safety requirements".

"The court did not support the injunctive measures in the form of prohibition to operate the building," the prosecutor's office noted adding that the case was taken under consideration.

According to data of Uniform State Register of Legal Entities, LLC April is registered at the same address as the shopping centre Rassvet: Penza, 116 Kalinina street. Company's director is Daria Potemina, its founder is Tatyana Agafilova.
