Tables were installed near each sampling, by which Penza residents visiting the alley can learn who contributed to the improvement of the green area.
As the press service of the Penza administration told PenzaNews, the campaign was held together with the V.G. Belinsky central park of leisure and recreation, which the alley belongs to. Games and quizzes, which helped to create a cheerful mood, were organized for young participants.
Large-scale landscaping of the Olympic alley in Penza began in 2016. Subsidies in the amount of 20 million roubles were allocated for this purpose.
The territory was cleaned of dead wood and dangerous trees, new benches and refuse bins appeared, new sidewalks were built, and the gallery of sports glory was renewed. Additional parking spaces were created nearby, too.
In 2017, improvement works started in the public garden across from the Olympic alley.
